The upcoming Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles video game is coming on October 14, 2021, on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X/S, and PC via Steam. CyberConnect2 is producing the game, while Aniplex is listed as the publisher.
Sega will also release the English version of Demon Slayer: Hinokami Chronicles in Asia on October 14 and the game will ship to North America and Europe on October 15, 2021.

Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles unmasked that Rui and Akaza will be joining the game as playable characters. Alongside Nezuko , these 2 are the only playable demons so far. Other characters include:
- Tanjiro Kamado
- Zenitsu Agatsuma
- Inosuke Hashibira
- Giyu Tomioka
- Sakonji Urokodaki
- Sabito, Makomo
- Shinobu Kochō
- Kyōjurō Rengoku
- Tanjiro Kamado (Hinokami Kagura)
- Murata
Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles will be featuring 2 modes- Solo Play Mode and Versus Mode.
In the Solo Play Mode, the player relives Kamado Tanjiro’s story which is completely based on the manga. Meanwhile, in Versus Mode, the player can play any two of the characters from the manga and they can battle against each other in a 2v2 match.
