The official website of the Mahoutsukai Reimeiki (The Dawn of the Witch) television anime revealed on Friday three additional cast, first key visual (pictured), and first promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere on April 8 at 01:28 a.m. on TBS, followed by BS11.

Satoshi Kuwahara (Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majutsu Ω) is helming the anime at Tezuka Production and handling the series composition. Reina Iwasaki (Adachi to Shimamura animation director) is designing the characters.
The anime adapts Kakeru Kobashiri’s fantasy adventure light novel of the same name, which launched with illustrations by Takashi Iwasaki in August 2018. Kodansha’s Ranobe Bunko imprint shipped the fourth volume on November 2.
Tatsuwo began drawing a manga adaptation in Monthly Shounen Sirius magazine in July 2019. The fourth volume was released on October 7. Kodansha USA began publishing the manga digitally in English on March 23 and released the third volume on July 13.
