The official website of the Gunjou no Fanfare (Fanfare of Adolescence) original anime series revealed on Sunday two additional cast, a key visual , and a second promotional video. The 13-episode anime is scheduled to premiere on April 2 at 11:30 p.m. on Tokyo MX, BS11, Gunma TV, and Tochigi TV followed by MBS, AT-X, and Green Channel.
Shouya Kimata and Shousei Oohira, two members of the boy band JO1, are voicing Kousei Nambara and Masaki Azuma, respectively. Both characters are members of Yuu Arimura’s former idol group, Mr. Doctor.
Makoto Katou (Yagate Kimi ni Naru) is helming the horse racing anime at Lay-duce, with Team Fanfare handling the series composition. Hiro Kanzaki (Eromanga Sensei) is the character designer and Hiroyuki Sawano (86) is composing the music.
