The official website of the Komi-san wa, Comyushou desu. (Komi Can’t Communicate) anime series revealed four supporting cast and the first promotional video for the second season on Wednesday. The new season will begin airing on April 7 at 12:00 a.m. on TV Tokyo, followed by TV Osaka, TV Aichi, and BS TV Tokyo. Netflix will exclusively stream the second season.

Voice actress Miku Itou (Adachi to Shimamura) is performing the opening theme “Ao 100-iro.” J-pop unit FantasticYouth (World Trigger 3rd Season) is performing the ending theme “Koshaberi Biyori.” The promotional video below previews both theme songs.
Kazuki Kawagoe (Koisuru Asteroid episode director) is returning to direct the second season at OLM, with chief director Ayumu Watanabe (Koi wa Ameagari no You ni). Deko Akao (Hitomi Mieno) (Hige wo Soru. Soshite Joshikousei wo Hirou.) is also returning to handle the series composition and Atsuko Nakajima (Sakamoto Desu ga?) is once again designing the characters.
The anime series adapts Tomohito Oda’s school comedy manga, which he originally published as a one-shot in Weekly Shounen Sunday in September 2015. The magazine began serializing the manga in May 2016. Shogakukan published the 24th volume on January 18.
