The upcoming season 4 of DanMachi (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon IV) revealed the first teaser trailer and visual. The sequel is set to air later this year.
Along with the new trailer and visual DanMachi Season 4 also revealed the staff and cast listing. Studio J.C. Staff is returning to anime the series. Staff includes:
- Director: Hideki Tachibana
- Series composition: Fujino Omori, Hideki Shirane
- Character designs: Shigeki Kimoto
- Sound director: Jin Aketagawa
- Music: Keiji Inai
The cast is returning, with Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Bell and Inori Minase as Hestia. Ayumi Mano is Cassandra, Akeno Watanabe is Aisha, Wakana Kowaka is Daphne, while Kazuyuki Okitsu and Maaya Uchida voice Kashida and Liliruca respectively. Yuka Iguchi is also returning as Hitachi. The fourth season was announced in January of 2021.

Studio J.C. Staff also animated the previous seasons of the anime. The first one aired in the Spring 2015 season, while the second followed in the Summer of 2019. The third season aired in the Fall of 2020, while the OVA came out in 2021. Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon: Arrow of the Orion movie premiered in 2019, and was also animated by J.C. Staff.
The anime is based on a light novel written by Fujino Omori and illustrated by Suzuhito Yasuda. SB Creative has been publishing it under its GA Bunko imprint since 2013. Yen Press licensed the series in English.
