The official website for Suzume no Tojimari Anime Movie By Makoto Shinkai Reveals the main heroine for the anime Suzume Iwato will be voiced by Nanoka Hara. Nanoka Hara was selected to play the role of Suzume from more than 1,700 audition participants.
Nanoka Hara said, “she cannot shake the feeling that this could all be a dream. She said that the first time she saw a Shinkai film in a theater, during the summer of her first year in middle school, was unforgettable.“
In addition, Director Shinkai said, “Hara should give plenty of dazzling and vivid emotions like the moment when the thick clouds were blown away. I can’t wait to see that from now on.“
