Dragon Ball (1986 – 1989)

About Dragon Ball Franchise
Dragon Ball franchise started with a manga by Akira Toriyama. The manga was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from 1984 to 1989. Dragon Ball Z sequel started in 1989 and ended in 1995. The sequel to Z, Dragon Ball Super started serialization in 2015 and is still ongoing. Over the years, the franchise has spawned numerous anime adaptations, over 20 movies, manga spin-offs, merchandise, and more.
