The first trailer for the new Kizuna Ai anime Kizuna no allele, an anime based on the Virtual vtuber, The Kizuna Ai is finally here!
The anime was announced during Kizuna Ai’s “last live” on April 2022. The first trailer for The Anime Kizuna no allele dropped on 2nd December! The visual was released on 16th November, along with the anime synopsis. The Anime is said to be broadcasted in 2023. No date was released.
This is a story in which girls are connected by “bonds.” Kizuna AI appeared like a comet in the virtual world and became popular in an instant. She then suddenly disappeared after shining at the pinnacle of the “Virtual Grid Awards”, Rapindor, for five years in a row.
Then the months passed—
ADEN Academy is a school that specializes in producing human resources who can play an active role in the virtual world . Aiming for their dreams, students who work hard every day gather there.“I want to become a virtual artist like Ai-chan!”Mirak, a girl who admires Kizuna AI, entered ADEN Academy with such thoughts in her heart . And the people she will meet in the future also spent their time at ADEN with various thoughts.
Thoughts on the plot
Judging from the plot, the anime seems to be a slice-of-life genre. The plot is intriguing as today vtubers are very popular, and the concept of “vtuber school” doesn’t seem too far from reality. Training courses for vtubing and streaming could be a thing in the future. The anime is technically about how vtubers are today especially vtubers from vtubing companies like Hololive and Nijisanji, who usually debut in a group. Overall the animation looks amazing! The characters look gorgeous! Hopefully, the whole anime will be as good as the trailer.

Who is Kizuna AI
Kizuna AI coined the term “vtuber”. She is the first vtuber to exist as the vtubers we know today. She debuted on November 16th 2016, under a subsidiary of Activ8, Kizuna Ai inc. Currently, as of December 2022, she is on an indefinite hiatus. Her ‘last live’ was on April 2022, and since then, fans have been eagerly waiting for her return.
The Kizuna AI brand has been really successful since its debut today. She may not be the most well-known vtuber but she is most likely the most respected. Even the people who do not know about vtubers may have heard the name Kizuna AI or have seen clips of her. AI is mainly an idol but is also used to stream games. Her most streamed song on YouTube, “AI AI AI” has 17 million streams as of now. Something worth mentioning is her tracking system, Kizuna Ai’s model tracking is still one of the best, if not the best, today. Though the brand was created mainly for Japan, AI is well-known overseas as well. She has succeeded in building a huge loyal fan base with 4 million subscribers on YouTube and 1 million on billi billi.
It is not sure if she will return or not, but fans still have hope as her ‘last live’ was not an outright graduation, and she herself tweeted that Ai was only going to “sleep” and not completely disappear. Ai also appears in the anime Kizuna no allele!
