On Sunday, the inaugural “Krew beInside” special, a live-streamed event, unveiled the third promotional video and fourth key visual for Tite Kubo’s projects, Bleach and Burn The Witch. The captivating video showcased the thrilling opening theme song “STARS” by the talented rock band w.o.d. Furthermore, it delighted fans by revealing the additional cast members for the highly anticipated Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War anime, scheduled to resume airing on July 8.

W.o.d., the acclaimed rock band, has made its anime theme song debut with this project, marking a significant milestone in its career. It is worth noting that manga creator Kubo himself is a fan of the band, although this fact did not influence the selection of the song. Fans can look forward to experiencing their unique musical contribution to the anime.

The second cours (quarter of the year) of the anime is set to premiere on July 8 at 11:00 p.m. (10:00 a.m. EDT) on TV Tokyo and its affiliates, along with other platforms. The initial airing of the show took place on October 10 in Japan, broadcasted on TV Tokyo and its affiliated networks. Currently, the anime is available for streaming on over 20 services in Japan, including Hulu and Disney+.

In the United States, Viz Media started streaming the anime on Hulu from the same date of its premiere. The English dubbed version was also released on Hulu on November 4. The North American premiere of the anime took place on October 8 at New York Comic Con. Furthermore, international viewers can enjoy the anime through Disney+, while Ani-One Asia is streaming the series in various Asian countries.

The first cours of the anime concluded in December with a special one-hour episode combining the 12th and 13th episodes. The anime is planned to run for four cours, with intermittent breaks.

Covering the remaining content of the original manga, the anime faithfully adapts the concluding arc known as the Thousand-Year Blood War, spanning volumes 55 to 74.

Tomohisa Taguchi, known for his work on series like Twin Star Exorcists, Kino’s Journey – The Beautiful World, and Akudama Drive, takes over as the new director at Studio Pierrot, succeeding Noriyuki Abe. The character designs will be handled by the talented Masashi Kudo, who returns to his role, while Shiro SAGISU resumes his role as the composer, crafting the captivating music for the series.

Additionally, the Japanese cast of the show includes members reprising their roles from the Bleach: Brave Souls game, adding a layer of familiarity and excitement for fans.
