Shine Post anime will premiere on July 12, as revealed in a new trailer released earlier today. Studio KAI (Skeleton Knight in Another World) is animating the series, which is a part of the Shine Post mix media franchise. Kei Oikawa is directing the anime.
Atsumi Tanezaki is the latest addition to the cast and she will be voicing Eiko Kikuchi. The cast also includes:
- Rimo Hasegawa as Yukine Gionji
- Rika Nakagawa as Momiji Ito
- Sayumi Suzushiro as Haru Nabatame
- Yuko Natsuyoshi as Rio Seibu
- Moeko Kanisawa as Kyoka Tamaki
- Mikako Komatsu as Yuki Hinase
- Ayaka Ohashi as Hotaru
- Kurumi Takase as Aoba Karabayashi
- Miyu Kubota as Itoha Karabayushi
- Tomoyo Takayanagi as Nanoka Hiumi
- Arisa Kori as Yawara Naekawa
The Shine Post franchise was created by Konami Digital Entertainment and Straight Edge. The anime follows the light novel written by Rakuda and illustrated by Buriki, which started serialization in Dengeki Bunko in October of 2021. Rakuda’s story was also adapted into a manga with Makiko Kawasemi’s art. The anime adaptation was also announced in October.
The story follows idol units TiNgS (which consists of Haru Nabatame, Kyoka Tamaki, Rio Seibu, Yukine Gionji, and Momiji Ito) and HY RAIN. A key visual featuring both was recently revealed:
