Tokyo Revengers revealed a key visual for the upcoming Christmas Conflict arc, which is set to premiere in January 2023. The Japanese title for the sequel is Tokyo Revengers: Seiya Kessen-hen and the name of the arc is sometimes translated as Christmas Showdown. LIDEN FILMS is returning to animate what is essentially the second season of the hit TV anime.
A commemorative promotional video for the upcoming anime arc was also revealed:
Draken’s New Voice Actor Revealed
Draken’s new voice actor is Masaya Fukunishi. Fukunishi will be replacing Tatsuhisa Suzuki, who dropped out of the anime due to reported health issues last year. The changes will also be reflected in the Bluray version of the first season and the upcoming rebroadcast in Japan.
The core anime staff is returning for the Tokyo Revengers sequel and includes:

- Series Composition: Yasuyuki Muto
- Character Design: Kenichi Onuki, Keiko Ota
- Music: Hiroaki Tsutsumi
The anime is based on a manga by Ken Wakui. The manga has been ongoing in the Weekly Shonen Magazine since 2017. Kodansha is publishing it in English and describes the plot as:
Watching the news, Takemichi Hanagaki learns that his girlfriend from way back in middle school, Hinata Tachibana, has died. The only girlfriend he ever had was just killed by a villainous group known as the Tokyo Manji Gang. He lives in a crappy apartment with thin walls, and his six-years-younger boss treats him like an idiot. Plus, he’s a complete and total virgin … At the height of his rock-bottom life, he suddenly time-leaps twelve years back to his middle school days!!
