Anime Corner News started in 2020 with a goal to serve the latest news about anime, manga, light novels and more. Last year, we added one more area of focus: Virtual YouTubers.
The rise of Virtual YouTubers has attracted a sizable audience, as well as a number of people who in turn will have their VTuber selves. These personalities, whether independent or handled by agencies such as Hololive and Nijisanji, continue to make YouTube history thanks to the support of their fans.
Not all VTubers are brought up in the news, and that’s where we come in. In 2021 alone, Anime Corner News published major VTuber news and feature updates to our audience. This time, we’re going to expand our VTuber Section further as we open applications for VTuber News and Feature writers.
We require two basic things: A knack for writing stories and a passion for VTubers. Once you are admitted to ACN, you will be surrounded by people who can help you share the message better. You also have the opportunity to pitch stories as well as participate in activities organized by Project Lune such as Tsuki-Talk Primetime.
We also have incentives for stories that do well with the audience. If you are looking forward to a career in news reporting, you can start here – and if your performance is outstanding, we can vouch for your next career in either journalism or public relations too.
If you are 18 years old or above and a team player with a Discord account, we encourage you to sign up and become a chronicler of VTuber history.
