The anime film Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie is coming to Philippine cinemas this June, SM Cinema announced. According to the Facebook post, the film is scheduled for release on June 22. The film was released in Japan last December 24, 2021.
The Movie Earned 13.7 Billion yen ( US$107 million) after 157 days in theaters in Japan. The film is now the 14th highest-grossing film in Japan of all time. The film opened in the United States on March 18 and earned a cumulative total of US$29.6 Million in the United States as of April 3.
Jujutsu Kaisen is based on a manga series written and illustrated by Gege Akutami. It follows Yuta Okkotsu, a young student who becomes a sorcerer and seeks to control the cursed spirit of his childhood friend Rika Orimoto in Jujutsu High alongside other skilled mates.
The film was directed by Sunghoo Park and written by Hiroshi Seki. It stars Megumi Ogata, Kana Hanazawa, Mikako Komatsu, Kōki Uchiyama, Tomokazu Seki, Yuichi Nakamura, and Takahiro Sakurai.
